Direct access to Yale-New Haven Hospital (Y-NHH) systems is restricted to computers connected to the Y-NHH network.
Each application requires a unique ID and password. Please contact the Y-NHH Help Desk (203-688-4357) for information on how to access the application you may need.
Y-NHH VPN Client - Access to Y-NHH administrative systems
Users on the Yale University network must install and configure the Y-NHH VPN Client to access
Y-NHH administrative systems.
Direct access to Yale-New Haven Hospital (Y-NHH) systems is restricted to computers directly connected to the Y-NHH network, or via Y-NHH VPN (IPsec is required).
Y-NHH VPN is designed to give University networked machines access to YNHH networked applications. To prevent extra traffic from flowing through the hospital network the Y-NHH VPN client restricts access to the Internet outside the University. To connect to an Internet site outside the University you will need to disconnect from the VPN.
Obtaining authorization to use the Y-NHH VPN
Y-NHH employees
- If you are a Y-NHH employee connected to the University network, download and complete the Y-NHH remote access form and the Y-NHH Confidentiality and Responsibility Agreement, and send it to the address written in the instructions. For assistance in completing this form, call the Y-NHH MIS HELP DESK (688-4357).
Yale University employees
- Submit a Y-NHH VPN request and fax it to Client Accounts and Access to 203-785-3606.
