New in version 10 and above: Expanded Threat Detection and Threat Categorization recognizes unwanted applications such as spyware and adware.
Specifics of the Yale University Agreement
Audience: Students, faculty, and staff of the University.
Usage Rights: The site license allows eligible users to install the software on both University and personally owned systems. When you leave the University, you are required to delete Symantec AntiVirus from your computer(s).
Home Use: Eligible users may install Symantec AntiVirus on a home machine.
Costs: The fees paid to Symantec for this agreement have been centrally funded.
