iPhone at YaleIMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS:

The iPhone is capable of integrating with University services such as YaleConnect email and calendaring, the standard Yale email service, the Yale wireless network, VPN, and podcasts from Yale’s iTunesU site. To order, change, relocate, or remove service, please click here to use START or contact your business manager.
Note: The University does not support centralized services that facilitate the secure transmission of ePHI via email in a HIPAA compliant manner. If you have a need to use a PDA or smart phone to send or receive ePHI or other information that may be considered confidential or sensitive, please consult with your IT support provider for recommendations.
System requirements
- iPhone v.2.0
- Mac OS X version 10.4.10 or later
- Windows XP Home or Professional with Service Pack 2 or later
- Windows Vista, all versions
- Mac or a PC with a network connection
- USB 2.0 port
- iTunes account – necessary for purchasing music, video and software but not required to use your iPhone
- iTunes 7.7 or later – necessary for software updates and backups
