Where can I save my files?
- Answer:
- We strongly recommend that you work on your files locally and save them at regular intervals and at logout to another source (preferably the pantheon, a USB key, or a CD). Floppies are extremely prone to failure, and all user files on cluster computer hard drives are deleted on a weekly basis. For instructions on saving files to the pantheon, please visit http://pantheon.yale.edu/help/.

- Answer:
- In order to log into a cluster computer you must have activated your netID and have a legal netID password. More information can be found at http://www.yale.edu/password. If you can normally log into the cluster machines without problems and believe that a single machine is experiencing log-in difficulties, please notify the CA in the cluster (if applicable) or email suggest@yale.edu.
