I am hung up in Oracle, what should I do?

Please do not end task, this will only make your problem worse. Instead, click on YAMS (which should be minimized on your toolbar) to bring it back up. Click on the man with megaphone icon that says "terminate my Oracle session". A screen will pop up and ask for your instance (HOP1 or Data Warehouse), NetID and phone number. Fill out the form and click on send information. A DBA (Database Administrator) will call you back in 10 to 15 minutes and assist you with your Oracle problem.

I am in Oracle and my report does not come up or I am in Eportal and the vendor websites will not open.

These two problems both result from a small piece of software, called a pop-up blocker doing the job it was intended to do. Pop-up blockers keep those annoying advertisements from popping up when you are using Internet Explorer. A pop-up blocker is installed when your Windows XP computer is updated with Service Pack 2, or when you installed the Google Toolbar, Yahoo Messenger, or AOL Instant Messenger (these are just a few of the possible pop-up blockers out there). All of these blockers can be configured to allow pop-up windows on sites where you actually want the new window to pop up. Most of the blockers can be temporarily disabled by holding down the Ctrl key on your keyboard while clicking on the misbehaving link.
