Import email into Eudora for Windows
-
Locate the archive you downloaded from the Email Archiver Tool.
-
Double click to open the file. You may be asked to unzip the file: agree to this and unzip the contents of the file to your desktop. This should include a folder called "email."
-
Double click to open the new folder entitled "email." Leave this folder window open on your desktop while you complete the next step.
-
Navigate to My Computer. Double click on the C: drive. Next double click on the Program Files folder. Scroll through your list of programs and double click to open the Eudora folder. Keep this window open. Note: If you do not see the Eudora folder in the Program Files folder, scroll through your list of programs to find a folder named Qualcomm instead and double-click on it. You should now see the Eudora folder.
-
Now you will drag the contents of the "email" folder into the opened Eudora folder. In the email folder, use your mouse to select all files ending in .mbx. Then drag these .mbx files into the open Eudora folder.
-
Close both folders and open Eudora normally. Your archived mail should appear in the lefthand panel ready to access.
