Adjusting Junk E-Mail in Entourage 2004/2008

IMPORTANT: This documentation is for Entourage 2004 or 2008 only. Documentation for a different email client can be found at configure junk mail controls.

1. Launch Microsoft Entourage.
2. Select Tools > Junk E-mail Protection.
   The Junk E-mail Protection folder will open. 
3. Set the level of protection that you would like.

You can also configure Safe Domains and Blocked Senders (2008 only).  See below for instructions on how to prevent filtering to Junk E-mail. This is also the area if you place an email by accident to be junk, where you would change that option.

Safe Domains

Domains, or anything after the @ symbol in an email, will not be placed in the junk folder.

Blocked Senders

Senders that are recognized to be blocked will end up in your Junk E-mail folder.

To prevent filtering to Junk E-Mail

Click on the message in the Junk E-mail folder you wish to prevent filtering and select Not Junk from the menu bar.

Select the appropriate option for how you wish to have the message handled.
