Conferencing and collaborative tools
At Yale, when you want to collaborate with a group of people, finding the right digital tool to enable this collaboration is key. What tool you pick depends on your university role, your needs and sometimes your budget. Some of the available options are:

Web Conferencing
Sometimes referred to as a data conferencing or data collaboration, it enables participants to share software applications, PowerPoint presentations, or anything running on their PC while seeing and/or and talking with each other.
Group collaboration tools
These tools support ongoing collaborations such as college classes, departments or committees. See chart below.
