About Yale ITS Reorganization in 2012
To start off 2012 as a brand new year of world class service, ITS has undergone a reorganization to increase transparency and improve satisfaction with ITS. Five principles have guided this reorganization:
1. We must improve satisfaction with ITS.
2. We need to make better and more transparent decisions.
3. We need to design, implement and support solutions that are sustainable.
4. Our clients need more consistent and clear interactions with us.
5. Align ITS organization with new operating model and ITIL principles.
To address these challenges, ITS has moved to flatten the organization and prioritize key functions including academics, security, serivce, innovation, client first tier support, and health and medicine.
What's New?
These changes will position ITS to achieve its vision statement:
To be recognized globally as the leading technology organization across universities, through rock-solid services, innovation, technology leadership and community satisfaction.
