Production Services
The Production Services group operates the systems that reside in the ITS data centers on a 7 day 24 hour schedule. They are responsible for the timely and accurate completion of daily production processes in support of our administrative and financial systems. They monitor daily data database and file backup processes to ensure that critical data can be restored in the event of an emergency. They provide first level support for the systems located in the Data Centers. The Production Services group provides first level problem determination and customer support, especially during off shift periods. Problems which cannot be resolved by them are promptly reported to the appropriate support group.

Data Center Operations
Data Center Operations is a unit of Information Technology Services and is responsible for the operation and support of the ITS data centers.

Database Administration
The Database Administration group installs, tests and maintains vendor supplied relational database management software and application systems for all administrative Unix and NT servers located in the ITS data centers. The group provides support to the Administrative Systems group, ITS Helpdesk and Production Services group who operate the ITS data centers. They provide support for the ITS data centers on a 7 day 24 hour basis as required.

Windows Systems
The Windows Systems (WINSYS) team is responsible for installation, testing, management and 24x7 support for ITS-managed Windows systems and services which are hosted in Yale's data centers. WINSYS works with Yale departments and other ITS units to provide technical consulting on Windows topics and also manages key Windows-based services like Yale's Active Directory, Exchange and Sharepoint services.
