Business Foundation Systems
Business Foundation Systems provides development, support, and integration services which will leverage the core Oracle Corporation Finance, Human Resource and Procurement software with other vendor-supplied software and custom-developed applications to achieve an efficient and comprehensive administrative data processing environment.
Collectively, these applications provide the mission critical IT support services required to maintain the core business processes across Yale’s central administrative function. Specifically; within Finance and Administration, they support the Finance, Administration, Budget Office, Procurement, Human Resources and Research Administration units.
We work with the University community to implement leading-edge technical solutions that enable improvements in the business process at Yale.

Finance Systems
Provides a reliable financial production system environment that effectively supports the business needs of Yale University, through timely technical resolution of production problems, and the implementation of business critical application enhancements identified by the Yale user community. Additionally, provides support of various relatively stand-alone financial satellite systems.

HR & Payroll Systems
Develops, implements and maintains relational database, client/server systems, and self-service applications to support the business processes of Human Resources, Payroll, and departmental administrative organizations.

Procurement Systems
Procurement Systems primary objective is to deliver timely, high quality and robust applications for Procurement and Accounts Payable. We are utilizing Oracle tools, Oracle support, talented Procurement technical team players, and a shared technical functional strategy to meet these objectives. Our goal is to provide the user with ever improving, user-friendly access to Yale's increasingly complex business infrastructure. We also provide technical advice on a wide range of newly emerging technologies.
