Kenise Lyons

Kenise Lyons

Kenise Lyons is a graduate of both the University of Maryland (B.A 2001, Political Science) and the Catholic University of America (M.A 2005, Italian). Her research interests include Italian intellectual history as well as 19th and 20th century visual, literary and media cultures.  She is currently a fourth year PhD student working on her dissertation entitled Scrivendo con la luce: the Photographic Presence in Italian Literature and Film, 1945-1995  which explores the material and metaphorical significance of photography and photographic discourse in the work of, among others, Roberto Rossellini, Michelangelo Antonioni, Lalla Romano and Antonio Tabucchi.
