Monica Georgeo

I moved to New Haven from Modena, Italy, where I was born, raised and I studied Economics and Accounting.
I have been teaching Italian Language at Yale University since January 2000, and I must say that this experience has completely changed my life. I truly enjoy the rewarding feelings I receive from teaching my language and sharing my enthusiasm for Italian culture.
I presently teach Intensive Intermediate Italian Language. In addition I am teaching a new course called ³Theater Practicum: Pirandello², dedicated to an in-depth study of ³Six Characters in Search of an Author. This course will culminate with the staging of the play in Italian.
Every Summer I look forward to returning to Italy to teach the Intermediate Italian Course. This summer, as last, we will be in beautiful Siena, for a once in a life time experience for the students.
