People

The Italian Department at Yale is a vibrant community. We are fortunate to draw on a range of scholars working in Italian including core faculty, lectors who regularly teach in the Department, and visiting faculty from Italy and around the world. At any given time, the Department has between fifteen and twenty graduate students at various stages in the Ph.D. program, many of whom also currently serve as Graduate Student Instructors in the curriculum. Central to our community is the work of our supporting administration/registrar, and the participations of our many alumni and friends.
