Kathleen Curran is Professor of Fine Arts at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, where she has taught since 1990.  She is an architectural historian, with a focus on nineteenth-century architecgture and urbanism.  In 2003, she published The Romanesque Revival: Religion, Politics, and Transnational Exchange (Penn State Press).  The book received the Henry-Russell Hitchcock Award from the Victorian Society in America.  She is currently writing a book on the American art museum.
