The Yale Institute of Sacred Music
invites vital Christian congregations committed to strengthening their ministries of worship, music, and the arts to apply for an exciting new opportunity. As ISM’s partners in this ecumenical initiative, seven congregations will develop specific projects that deepen and extend their ministries in these areas. Leadership teams from these congregations will learn, create, and make connections through a weeklong summer seminar in New Haven. Later, they will serve as resources to other leaders or communities in their own regions, and will commit to contributing reports of their work both within their denominations and with the larger church..
Selected congregations and parishes will be passionate about their mission to serve their neighborhoods, cities, or regions and eager to connect worship, music, and the arts to this mission. They will have the confidence and credibility to serve as resources to other congregations that also seek to make this connection.
