SPECIAL OPPORTUNITIES
Judith Clinton of Mystic, CT seeks a composer/collaborator to work on a musical drama that has a spiritual component. It is the story of a transformational journey taken by a young man just starting out in life. Told in the spirit of The Wizard of Oz, The Alchemist and The Hero's Journey, with a Pippin-like protagonist, it is an adventure story filled with challenges and obstacles to overcome. Within the story are archetypal figures found in myth, legend, fairy tales and religion. These elements contribute to making it a universal tale with something in it for everyone. Judith seeks someone who is willing to be very creative and create music that is not typical “show” music. There are a few songs already written, but it is still in need of songs, dance music and other musical components including the use of voices and unusual instruments. Contact jclinton14@msn.com for more information.
