Please note: The ISA deadline for 2008 has passed. Please check back in November 2008 for information on the 2009 ISA's.

There are two types of ISA’s available to undergraduates on Yale financial aid: the ISA-SIC, and the ISA-SIC Plus.

  1. The ISA-SIC, or the International Summer Award, Student Income Contribution, consists of a grant covering the Student Income Contribution (SIC).
    • Students who win one of the many fellowships designated for an International Summer Award are eligible to apply for ISA-SIC funding.
  1. The ISA-SIC Plus offers eligible students the ISA-SIC award “Plus” additional funding, an amount which is determined based on both the cost of the eligible program and the student’s financial aid package.
    • Students participating in a Yale-designated study or internship program are encouraged to apply for ISA-SIC Plus funding.
