Academic Computing Services does not support any hardware that connects laptops without a PC slot to Yale's network. This means that Yale will not provide this adapter nor spend an inordinate amount of time assisting in its installation.

However, there are Ethernet adapters that connect to the parallel port of your computer. One such product is the Xircom Pocket Ethernet Adaptor III (PE3-10BT). Such "pocket" 10BASE-T Ethernet adapters are also made by other companies. They should cost around $300.

You also need to purchase an RJ45 Ethernet cable if one is not included with your adapter.
