Musical styles
The repertoire of the Yale International Singers covers a wide spectrum of music. Over the years they have performed music ranging from the classical works of Mozart, Haydn, Franco, Mendelssohn, Liszt, and Brahams to exotic songs from around the world performed in their original languages. Works are performed either a capella or with appropriate accompaniment, including organ, strings, other symphonic instruments, and percussion. Material is selected by our director, Sebastián Zubieta, and is occasionally brought to the group by members, who hail from many different countries.
