This classroom is equipped with 533 MHz G4 towers with 15" flat screens. Each has 384 MB RAM, Rage 128 Pro video accelerator cards with 16 MB of video RAM, 40 GB hard drives, CD-RW drives, 250 MB Zip drives, and external floppy drives. There are 24 computers for student use and the instructor's Macintosh is connected to an overhead projector. A podium permits the use of a laptop computer for projection.

Availability: Faculty can schedule classes for individual or collaborative writing assignments, hands-on work with course-specific software or orientations to familiarize students with such topics as newsgroups, mailing lists or web browsers. Contact Gloria Hardman to schedule time in Phelps or arrange for an orientation. The facility may be used as a cluster when not in use by a class.
