About

InSight
, the college chapter of the National Asian Pacific American Women's Forum, was established as a non-profit undergraduate organization at Yale University in New Haven, CT in 2004.

The chapter joins NAPAWF's dedication to forging a grassroots progressive movement for the social, economic, and political empowerment of APA women, and achieves this through organizing, education, and advocacy.

By building a support network of motivated and dynamic women on Yale's campus, we hope to provide a means by which we can share our experiences and concerns, as well as work together to increase awareness about issues specific to Asian Pacific American women.

InSight attempts to gain insight into important issues through discussion and research. Once these concerns are further explored, our goal is to put them in sight through awareness campaigns and sponsorship of events relevant to those issues.

Most importantly, we use insight to look introspectively at ourselves as APA women and to examine our role in the community. But we always remind ourselves to look outward and keep our goals in sight.

Our hope is to ultimately attain a stronger voice for the historically underrepresented population of Asian Pacific American women through leadership, empowerment, and policy change.
