Troubleshooting
If you're having trouble with your modem connection, there are a number of
things you can check on your own before getting in touch with us.
- First of all, try connecting again, especially if your modem
connection has worked in the past. Every now and then you may experience a
random glitch that will prevent your connection from working properly.
Reconnecting usually fixes this.
- If that doesn't work, try checking all your modem's connections,
making sure all the necessary wires and cables are properly and snugly
connected, then restart your machine and try connecting again.

- It may be that there's a temporary Yale-wide problem, and that
there's nothing wrong with your system. If you have access to a
computer that is connected to the network, try checking the ACS
Machine and Network Status page.
- If all seems well with Yale, check out our lists of Frequently Asked Questions:
- If you don't find the answer to your problem there, try one of
the following resources:

existing account)
