Industrial Environmental Management Lecture Series

In its eighteenth year, the IEM Lecture Series brings speakers from
a variety of companies to the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental
Studies to discuss the relationship between Business and the Environment.
The IEM Spring Lecture Series is supported by the Joel Omura Kurihara
Fund. Joel Kurihara, F&ES class of 1992 was committed
to improving business and environmental relations and the type of dialogue
this series seeks to advance. Recent themes have included sustainable
energy, greening supply chains, and environmental management of the

Industrial Environmental Management Student Interest Group
The IEM Student Interest Group (SIG) is a student-run adjunct of the
IEM program that sponsors field trips to industrial sites, on-campus
talks by environmental managers, workshops on current topics of interest,
and networking opportunities with alumni of IEM. Each year the group
compiles a widely-distributed resume book to assist students with locating
summer internships and full-time employment.
