Are you returning to Yale after a semester of study abroad? If so, come to the Welcome Back Reception to meet others who are also returning from abroad and share your stories. You will also get the latest info from Undergraduate Career Services and IEFP's fellowship advisers.

Information Meeting: Summer International Opportunities, January 24
Co-sponsored by IEFP, Undergraduate Career Services, Yale in London and Yale Summer Session, this meeting will introduce you to the many international options Yalies have for their summers. We'll talk about study abroad on Yale and non-Yale programs, international internships, and about funding for types of summer activities. Don't miss this meeting!

Information Meeting: Year/Term Abroad Program
Learn about how you can study abroad with programs and universities world-wide and earn a full semester or year of Yale credit and take your financial aid with you. This information meeting is perfect for freshmen who want to begin planning for a 2nd semester sophomore, or junior year semester abroad, and for sophomores who want to explore their options for next year. Returned study abroad students, as well as the advisers from IEFP, will help you to get started in planning for your adventure abroad.

International Opportunities Night on the Old Campus
Student and administrators will come to the OC to discuss international opportunities at Yale, including study, internships, research, and fellowships. There will be representatives from Yale Summer Session, Peking University-Yale University Joint Program, UCS International Bulldogs, Yale in London, Year or Term Abroad, Office of International Education and Fellowship Programs, Light Fellowship, MacMillan Center.

Trumbull College/Berkeley College Study Abroad Study Break
Come talk with peers in your colleges who have studied abroad during the academic year. Hear about their experiences and learn more about your own study abroad options.

Study Abroad Information Session for History Majors
Learn how to turn a study abroad experience into a major experience. Speak with history majors who have studied abroad. Get advice from study abroad advisers and PKU-Yale Joint Undergraduate Program in Beijing adviser.

Study Abroad Information Session for Anthropology Majors
Learn about how studying abroad can fit into the Anthropology major and hear from Anthropology majors who have already studied abroad. Refreshments will be served.

Information Meeting:  CUPA Paris
Pascale Bessieres, Director of the CUPA program in Paris will be holding an information session for students interested in studying abroad in Paris. CUPA allows students to take regular courses at universities throughout Paris (a full list can be found on the CUPA Web site).

IES Information Session
Beth Eustis, a representative of IES, will be holding an information session for students interested in studying abroad through this provider during the summer, or academic year. To see which IES programs have been approved for academic year study abroad, please visit: www.yale.edu/iefp/studyabroad/approved. Please note that the IES Madrid, Arles and Vienna summer programs are on the designated list of non-Yale programs for the 2008 International Summer Award.

Davenport College/Pierson College Study Abroad Study Break
Come talk with peers in your colleges who have studied abroad during the academic year. Hear about their experiences and learn more about your own study abroad options. Refreshments will be served.

Information Meeting: IFSA Butler - Academic Semester and Summer Programs in Spanish-Speaking Countries
Come and learn about options for study abroad in Latin America and Spain with IFSA Butler. IFSA Butler offers university-enrollment programs in the academic year in Argentina, Chile, Costa Rica, Peru, Mexico and Spain. They also offer summer programs in Argentina, Mexico and Spain.

Application Deadline: University College London applications for fall semester 2008 and full year 2008-09
Yale students applying to UCL for the fall semester 2008 or full 2008-09 academic year must submit the complete UCL application, along with Yale's Year or Term Abroad application, to IEFP by 12pm Noon.

Information Meeting: Academic Programs Abroad (APA), Paris
Claire Suraqui, Director of the APA program in Paris will be holding an information session for students interested in studying abroad in Paris. APA allows students to take regular courses at universities throughout Paris (a full list can be found on the APA web site).

Information Meeting: IES Madrid
Elvira Muņoz, Resident Director of the IES program in Madrid, will be holding an information session for students interested in studying in Madrid during the summer, or academic year. Please note that the IES Madrid summer program is on the designated list of non-Yale programs for the 2008 International Summer Award.

Application Deadline: Danish Institute for Study Abroad Programs, Fall 2008
Yale students applying to DIS for the fall term must submit the complete Yale DIS application to IEFP by 12pm Noon.

Application Deadline: Yale's Year or Term Abroad (including LAMDA) - Fall and Full Year 2008-09
Yale students applying for Year or Term Abroad for fall 2008 or full academic year 2008-09 must submit their completed application to IEFP by 12pm noon. Applications for LAMDA for fall 2008 are also due today.

Information Meeting: Syracuse University Program in Florence, Architecture and Art Programs
Thinking about studying architecture or art during the academic year or summer? Then attend this meeting to learn out the options available through the Syracuse University program in Florence. This program is approved for Year/Term Abroad for architecture and art majors -- you can study art and architecture in beautiful Florence, earn full Yale study abroad credit, and take your financial aid with you! Plan ahead for next spring, and for summer 2009.

Drop-in Information Session: The London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art (LAMDA)
All are welcome to attend an informal information session with Sarah Jane Chapman to learn about the programs offered by the London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art. LAMDA offers the following study abroad programs: single semester classical acting for undergraduates (LAMDA is an approved program for Year/Term Abroad) and eight different summer courses, as well as a number of post-grad study and internship options. Several Yale students are currently enrolled at LAMDA this semester. For complete course listings and further information, please visit www.lamda.org.uk.

Mandatory Pre-Departure Meeting: Year/Term Abroad Program
(Fall 2008, and full year 2008-09 students)
