Ningping Yu, Resident Director

Ningping Yu is the Acting Resident Director for the Joint Program during the 2007-08 academic year. Ms. Yu received her Ph.D. in American Studies at the University of Iowa, and her B.A. and M.A. at Sonoma State University in California. Prior to teaching Chinese at Simon Fraser University in Canada, she served as the Resident Director for the Council on International Educational Exchange's program at Nanjing University for six years and as an associate professor in the English Department at Nanjing.
Xiaojie Zhang, Coordinator

Xiaojie Zhang was born in Shandong province, the hometown of Confucius. She received her BA in English Language and Literature from Beijing Language and Culture University in 1995, and a MA in Linguistics (subfield of Cultural Linguistics) in 1999. Then she went to Shanghai to work as a translator for about two years. From July 2004 to January 2007, she served as coordinator for Skidmore-in-Beijing Program, an exchange program between Peking University and Skidmore College.
Luo Ling , Program Officer in the Division for Exchange Programs, Office of International Relations

Luo Ling received her BA in world history from the Department of History and Economics, a division of Peking University's China Center for Economic Reseach, in 2002. She completed her MA in History of Sino-US Relations in PKU's Department of History in 2005. She also participated in an interdisciplinary program combining history, philosophy and study of Chinese language and literature from 1998 to 2002. She has been the program officer in charge of exchange and cooperation affairs with Oceania universities at the Office of International Relations since 2005.
