Application Process
1. Review eligibility requirements.Review the Peking University-Yale University Joint Undergraduate Program eligibility requirements to ensure all criteria have been met before applying. 2. Attend a PKU-Yale University Joint Undergraduate Program information session.During the session, information about the program and application procedures is provided and students are encouraged to ask questions. Information meetings are open to all students. No RSVP is required. 3. Meet with the On-Campus Coordinator.Please contact the On-Campus Coordinator, Amy Weber (436-8145) or , to set up an appointment to discuss your application before you apply. This advising session will help answer your questions and strengthen your application. 4. Complete all required application items.The application includes 4 copies (original plus 3 copies) of the completed application form and personal statement and only the original dean’s form. Please hand-deliver all your application materials to the Center for International Experience, 3rd floor, 55 Whitney Avenue, New Haven. 5. Get/renew your passport and apply for a visa.If you do not already have a passport you should apply for one as soon as possible. If your passport will expire while you are abroad, you must apply to renew this before leaving the U.S. You can apply in person at the New Haven Post Office (50 Brewery Street; 782-7230). Be certain to apply well before you plan on traveling abroad as the passport process can take several weeks, depending on the time of year of your application.
