Application Process

1. Review eligibility requirements.

Review the Peking University-Yale University Joint Undergraduate Program eligibility requirements to ensure all criteria have been met before applying.

2. Meet with the On-Campus Director.

Please contact the On-Campus Director, Cristin Siebert (432-7985) or cristin.siebert@yale.edu, to set up an appointment to discuss your application before you apply. This advising session will help answer your questions and strengthen your application.

3. Complete all required application items online.

When you are ready to begin your application, please visit http://cie.yale.edu/?go=pekinguniversity and click the "Start Applying" button. After logging in with your NetID, you will be taken to your application homepage, where all application forms, materials, and information are available to you.

4. Get/renew your passport.

If you do not already have a passport you should apply for one as soon as possible. If your passport will expire while you are abroad, you must apply to renew this before leaving the U.S. You can apply in person at the New Haven Post Office (50 Brewery Street; 782-7230). Be certain to apply well before you plan on traveling abroad as the passport process can take several weeks, depending on the time of year of your application.

Spring 2010 applications are due by Thursday, October 15, 2009.
