Credits

Participation in the Program is equivalent to enrollment in Yale College. Therefore, it is not considered the same as a Year or Term Abroad and students do not need the approval of the Faculty's Year or Term Abroad Committee. Consequently, students do not need to seek pre-approval for the transfer of credits. The course load will be comparable to a regular course load at Yale.

Because of the varied disciplinary courses offered, East Asian Studies (EAS) and East Asian Languages and Literatures (EALL) credits do not automatically accrue to courses taught in the Peking University-Yale University Joint Program.
