Coursework

The PKU-Yale University Joint Undergraduate Program in Beijing is designed to fit seamlessly into students' fall and/or spring semesters. Because the program offers not only Chinese language and history courses, but seminar-style courses in English in many different disciplines, students need not risk valuable academic time in order to complete the program. Instead, this program compliments Yale students' pre-existing plans towards graduation. Most students should be able to easily find classes that fulfill their requirements for graduation while studying in one of the most dynamic cities in the world.

Please note:

Official Yale College program and course information is found in Yale College Programs of Study, available on line at www.yale.edu/yalecollege/publications/ycps. Because of the varied disciplinary courses offered, East Asian Studies (EAS) and East Asian Languages and Literatures (EALL) credits do not automatically accrue to courses taught in the Peking University-Yale University Joint Program.
