  • The Light Fellowship provides health insurance coverage from HTH Worldwide for all fellows while they are studying abroad.
  • Yale provides all students with MEDEX at no cost. This is NOT insurance, but it provides many useful services.

Benefits Pamphlet

All fellows receive blanket student accident and sickness insurance from HTH Worldwide while they are studying abroad. Fellows receive their member card and welcome packet at pre-departure orientation. If you would like additional coverage for your time abroad you may do so at your own expense.

MEDEX

MEDEX is a comprehensive assistance program providing students with worldwide 24/7 emergency medical and security assistance - including emergency evacuations & repatriation.

Yale University has provided this benefit at no cost to all students, faculty and staff members. You are already enrolled, however, certain coverage terms and conditions apply and should be understood prior to travel as described on the Web site.
