Meeting with the Alan Baubonis, the Light Fellowship Assistant Director
Alan strives to engage with students, and to share their enthusiasm about going to study language and enrich themselves through cultural immersion abroad.
After studying Anthropology and Chinese at Boston University, Alan moved to Qingdao, China. He spent two years there studying Chinese and practicing/researching martial arts. From 2007 to 2010, he worked in the Council on East Asian Studies at Yale, running China-related event programming and serving as Graduate Registrar.
