The Contest Challenge:

Create something new and innovative for use on the web (a flash game or a website), on a game console (an innovative way to use a Wii or a simple game), or on a mobile device (mobile application). Project must not fall under the categories of Art, Business & Entrepreneurship or Education.

In your entry, explain the purpose and goals of the digital project and whether or not you attained those goals (500 words max). Please also explain why your project is innovative in the digital sphere and what plans you have, if any, to expand or mature your project (500 words max). Include the URL of your project, or please indicate if you will require server space to host your program or application.

Any physical materials included in your project may be submitted to the Office of Digital Dissemination, at 500 College St. (Woolsey Hall), 3rd Floor, Suite 1. Questions regarding submissions may be directed to Kirsten.Cartoski@yale.edu.

Judging:

Judging will be based on creativity and originality of the project. Preference will be given to well-thought-through essays that fully explain the purpose of the project and thoroughly assess the success of the project.

Prize:

The selected winner will receive a 16GB iPod Touch.
