History of Science

Yale University seeks a tenure-track Assistant or junior Associate Professor in the history of science beginning July 1, 2008. Preference will be given to applicants who work in the history of early modern science or the history of science in non-Western regions and/or the developing world. Fields of interest include the history of the natural sciences, medical sciences, and/or the sciences related to exploration.

Duties will include teaching in the Program in the History of Science and Medicine and the History Department. The search committee will begin considering applications on September 17, 2007.
