Full Time Infant Toddler Head Teacher for a Yale-affiliated, NAEYC accredited early childhood program. Begin August 27. Must have a minimum of an Associates in Early Childhood Education or related field, (and intent to continue for a Bachelors) with experience in group care for children under 2 years. Must have the ability to work closely with two other teachers, with parents, and with young children sensitively, intelligently, and with patience and integrity. The Phyllis Bodel Childcare Center at Yale School of Medicine, seeks to expand the administration of its program with the addition of an Assistant Director.
The Assistant Director should be a thoughtful, caring listener and communicator who can come to the role with energy and sound judgment to work with staff and families. In our center, the director and assistant director will work very closely with teachers in classrooms, spending time with children and their parents frequently.
