Calvin Hill Day Care Center and its Kitty Lustman-Findling Kindergarten, a non-profit, nationally accredited model educational early childhood program affiliated with Yale University, anticipates two openings for a teacher and assistant teacher in August, 2008. The Center's tuition is based on a sliding scale, ensuring that high quality, affordable child care and education are available to a diverse population. It also participates in the New Haven School Readiness Program. Calvin Hill is known for the professionalism and experience of its teachers, its emphasis on the development of a rich, integrated curriculum. The Center strives to establish and maintain strong relationships between teachers and families as well as to provide opportunities for growth and development in a stimulating, nurturing learning community for adults and children.

Qualifications: Degree in early childhood education or related field preferred; CDA minimum; experience working with young children; desire to continue to learn and grow.
Hours: Full time, school year with possibility of summer program.
