Changing the World One Diaper at a Time!
At last year's holiday gathering, Yale's Latino Networking Group coordinated a diaper drive for New Haven's Diaper Bank and collected 2000 diapers and $144.
Goals
The Yale Latino Networking Group is excited about its recent efforts to build a Latino community of staff at Yale. Their ideas to energize and empower the group to become a vital organization at Yale are poised to become a reality with the help of the many Latino/a colleagues they would like to join with to:
- Develop a support network for Latino/Latina staff at all levels.
- Provide access to programs that enhance the skills development, job information, mentoring, and employment opportunities for staff
- Assist Yale with the recruitment of Latino/Latina staff
- Promote diversity education on Latino/Latina issues
- To sponsor at least 3 cultural events annually.
The Yale Latino Networking Group hopes that you will join them in their efforts, and assist them in identifying common interests and refining their goals.
