C&T - Maximum Lump Sum Example

Grade D employee on step 12 (year 4 of the Agreement) earning $18.23 with 12 years of service receives the 3.0% contractual increase on February 6, 2000 bringing his hourly rate to $18.79. This employee will also receive a lump sum payment of $.46 per hour for a total hourly rate of $19.25. In each subsequent year of the Agreement, the individual will receive the across-the-board contractual increase, (3.0% in 2001) but no further step increase apart from the lump sum increasing by a few cents to $.48 to reflect the new value of one step of a grade D.
