C&T - Step Increase Example

Grade B employee on step 2 (year 4 of the Agreement) earning $10.96 per hour. Hire date was October 1997 so he completed two full years of service as of February 6, 2000. He receives the 3.0% annual increase on February 6, 2000 putting him on step 2, year 5, at $11.29 per hour. His years of service are equivalent to his step so he also receives a step increase of $.37 placing him at $11.66 (step 3) for a total increase of 6.4%.
