Business managers can now choose who in their department receives pre-trip email alerts from Orbitz for Business. The system sends alerts about international travel (for compliance with the Fly America Act) and about out-of-policy bookings (tickets purchased in premium cabins for flights under 5,000 miles).
In START, click on “Maintain Lists” then “Maintain Travel People Lists” to add/delete/change a person as an approver. This approver, designated by the Business Manager, may vary by division, department or organization based on the home organization of the traveler.
Additionally, for departments requiring notifications on all transactions, Travel Services can adjust your department settings in the Orbitz for Business tool accordingly.
