Winter Wear Clothing Drive - Surviving a New England Winter
As the weather changes and we all begin to look for warmer clothes, it is often a time when we clean out our closets. In doing so if you find "gently used" winter apparel (jackets, hats, mittens, boots, sweaters, etc.) that you and your family members are no longer using, please consider donating them to OISS for the 5th annual Surviving a New England Winter workshop scheduled for October 25, 2007.
OISS and YUHS are partnering to provide information about winter health and winter wear to new Yale international student and scholars, many of whom are experiencing winter for the first time.
Donations can either be dropped off at the International Center, 421 Temple Street or collected in your office for us to pick up. Please email Abigail Borchert to make arrangements. Contributions will be accepted until Wednesday, October 24th. Any items contributed to this event that are not taken by the workshop participants will be donated to a local organization.
