Coverage begins for Medical/Dental
If your date of employment is the first day of the month, your medical coverage will be effective on the first day of the month. If your date of employment is after the first day of a given month, your medical coverage will be effective on the first day of the month following your date of employment.
Coverage ends for Medical/dental
Coverage ends the last day of the current month in which employment has terminated.
Example:
Employee terminates May 15th, coverage ends May 31st.
Enrollment applications for medical and dental must be received by the Benefits Office within 30 days from the date of employment or status change.
