205 Job Evaluations and Job Analysis
Departmental and school management have the prerogative to design jobs in a manner that best suits their operational and financial needs. The classification of jobs and assignment of a salary grade within the managerial and professional classification structure is the responsibility of the Compensation and Classification Section of Human Resources.
A request for a job evaluation review is appropriate when the responsibilities of a job have changed significantly and substantially, or when a departmental reorganization has occurred and job responsibilities have been reassigned, restructured, reduced, or new responsibilities or functions have been added.
