POLICIES AND GUIDELINES FOR
SUBSCRIBERS:
- All contributions should be of a substantive
scholarly nature and be pertinent to our subject
area. However, we interpret the word
"scholarly" to include lively and
informal--but informed--discussions and queries
on all aspects of Hardy's life and work (see also
TTHA Poetry
discussion group).
- Subject headings should be succinct and relate
directly to the topic under discussion so that
others can quickly determine if the message is of
interest to them or not.
- Always place your full name and e-mail address at
the end of each posting.
- All personal messages, such as thanks for
responses, or answers to questions which are not
of general interest to the group as a whole,
should be e-mailed privately to the individual
concerned (see also TTHA VP Box)
- No commercial advertising is permitted on THE
FORUM.
- Requests for term papers, for help in writing
them, or for information easily obtained from
libraries or other readily available sources, are
not appropriate and should not be replied to by
other subscribers.

posting, or if you have any further questions or
