This Checklist was the creation of Robert Schweik who was the Director of these pages 2000 - 2006

provided for TTHA members. It is currently produced by a team of fifteen-plus scholars around the world, aided by other special correspondents. They review, at least every other month, nearly one hundred sources, including more than 25 bibliographies, trade lists, catalogues, and electronic databases, as well as the current contents of over 70 scholarly journals, and the archives of major Internet discussion lists. The resulting Checklist cites the most recent Hardy scholarship published in English, French, German, Japanese, and Arabic. It provides a list of writings by and about Hardy published in the immediately preceding year and in the current year, with, in addition, listings of prepublications and announced publications for the following year. Checklists for earlier years will be archived, beginning with the Checklist for the year 2000.

One advantage of TTHA's Checklist is its comprehensiveness: for the years 2000 and onward, its coverage is far fuller than that provided by the MLA or the MHRA or VS (Victorian Studies) current bibliographies.

Many Checklist citations are annotated; many are hyperlinked to critical reviews.
The contents of book-length publications are often analyzed.
Related entries are hyperlinked to make finding connections between them easier.
The relevant contents of Internet archives are provided in detail.
The entire Checklist may be searched for keywords, and its table of contents is hyperlinked to allow for easy access to its various divisions.

A second advantage of the Checklist is its currency. Listings are usually a year--often two years or more--in advance of standard bibliographies. In short, for anyone who wishes to keep up with the latest research on Hardy, the TTHA CHECKLIST OF RECENT HARDY PUBLICATIONS is the one indispensable resource to consult.
