HBC South

Hi, my name is Matt Schrimpf, and I am currently a sophomore at Harvard studying history and specializing in Arabic and the Middle East. I am an avid cyclist around my hometown of Franklin, Tennessee, and am incredibly excited about the HBC South ride this summer. At school I have been rowing with the crew team, taking photographs for the campus newspaper, and teaching high school students about international relations with the Model United Nations program. Playing foosball with my housemates is my favorite daily post-dinner ritual. I can't wait to work with Habitat and its undeniably inspirational mission of bringing affordable housing to families in need, and I can't imagine a better way to get excited about Habitat than to bike across the country with an amazing group of riders!
