In the summer of 2006, 90 college students will cimb on their bikes to ride coast-to-coast in support of Habitat for Humanity. The twelfth annual Habitat Bicycle Challenge (HBC) will generate approximately $360,000 in proceeds, enough to underwrite the construction of five Habitat homes. HBC riders will also raise awareness of Habitat's work throughout the country as they pedal to end poverty housing.
