Assisted by Steven FeisPrince Hilarion and Princess Ida have been betrothed since infanthood. Twenty years later, Ida has forsworn the world of men and started a Ladies’ College. Hilarion and his friends infiltrate the college, dressed in drag, to reclaim his love. Just as they are discovered, Hilarion’s father brings forth a full scale attack upon Ida’s Castle Adamant. Though one of Gilbert and Sullivan’s lesser-known works, Princess Ida features a magnificent score and a very funny story.
