Scholar awards are research and career development awards for which Yale has been invited to nominate a limited number of candidates. The American-Scandinavian Foundation Awards for Scandinavians 2007-2008

The American-Scandinavian Foundation (ASF) offers over $500,000 in funding to Scandanavians to undertake study or research programs (usually at the graduate level) in the United States for up to one year. Candidates for awards are recommended to the ASF by the cooperating organizations. Awards are made in all fields.

Eligibility: Applicants must be citizens of Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway or Sweden

Terms of Award: The number and size of awards granted annually varies widely between countries. Contact the ASF's cooperating organizations for specific information regarding eligibility, award size and application deadlines.

Book Project Grants

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

CGP The Foundation Center for Global Partnership

The Japan Foundation Center for Global Partnerships is pleased to annouce a Book Project grant competition for Assistant or Associate Professor Authorship of a single-authored or limited co-authored book analyzing contemporary social issues.

CGP will provide grants up to $50,000 each, paid to and administered through the submitting researcher's US institution.
