Funding Information
U.S. Government: Most of
Yale's sponsored project support is provided by the federal government.
The largest sponsors include the Department of Health and Human Services
(National Institute of Health), the National Science Foundation, the Department
of Defense (Army Research Office, Air Force of Scientific Research, Office
of Naval Research), the National Aeronautics and Space Administration,
and the Department of Energy.
Non-U.S. Government: This
group encompasses foundations, corporations, state and local governments
and other non-profit organizations.
Once you have developed a well-articulated research question or if you
have identified a project you wish to undertake, the next step is to begin
identifying appropriate funding sources. G&CA maintains a list of resources
to assist you in identifying potential sponsors. More information and
links to these services can be found via the links in the left-hand scan
column.
