Welcome to Yale
A Message from the Dean
Welcome to the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences at Yale University,
the oldest graduate school in North America. The Graduate School
stands at the very heart of Yale's mission as a university, and
this website unfolds the extraordinary breadth of Yale's graduate
programs as well as the exceptional services, activities and events
that enhance graduate study and especially graduate student life
at Yale.
The Graduate School of Arts and Sciences has worked to extend
and enrich the sense of community found individually within Yale's
departments
and programs. Maintained on this website is a continually evolving

and colloquia and
funding opportunities within and without Yale; calendars outlining
academic deadlines, social events and opportunities for career
education
and training in teaching; admissions materials and procedures;
as well as important information concerning financial aid, international
student issues, and efforts to diversify our community.
