Health Plan/University Health Services
Yale provides students with comprehensive health care services through
the Yale Health Plan. Membership in the health plan is automatic
for full-time registered students. In addition to emergency services
and primary care, mental health counseling is available through
the Department of Mental Hygiene, as well as various prevention
and wellness programs, including those addressing stress, asthma,
weight loss and smoking. The Health Plan maintains a full-service
pharmacy.
For health emergencies, students can contact the Urgent Care facility
of the Yale Health Plan at 432.0123, available 24 hours a day. A
complete listing of contact information for all offices at University
Health Services is available online.
